Howdy folks. My name is Jason, welcome to my online home.
I decided recently to make the jump from Los Angeles to Honduras to work, raise a family, and meet new and interesting people. The purpose of this post and the next is to explore how law of attraction can be engaged to manifest change and desire.
The law of attraction is something which functions in experience. The law does not, contrary to popular belief, cause things to be attracted to you. Rather, how the universe functions can me made conscious, and when you are conscious of how something functions, you engage it with greater clarity and foresight, which gives you more room to play around.
Experience is a singular movement. While thoughts and feelings come and go, they aren't separate from your experience of them. Your desire to eat a pizza tonight is not separate from the moment you are in. It is a thought, that if engaged, may lead to you calling Pizza Hut, ordering the pizza, and voila! You have your pizza. Nothing very mystical or magical about that.
The reason you call Pizza Hut and don't pay for a pile of dough, a kilo of cheese, tomatoes, and whatever other ingredients your tummy may be calling for, is that Pizza Hut is on your path of least resistance. You want a pizza, but you don't feel like cooking one. And because you live down the street from Pizza Hut, the universe accommodates your desire.
The path of least resistance to ordering a pizza is one of virtually no resistance, assuming you have the money for a pizza and are living in a modern society. But what about finding work in a foreign country? What about relocating your family? What about when you want something outside the field of potential, like a million bazillion gazillion unicorns or a pet giraffe named
Stretch? There really is a correlation between the strength of your desire and the potential for it to manifest. But wanting something very very much does not mean you're going to get it. Why is that?
If we take zoning laws for obtaining a pet giraffe and put those aside, we see that the amount we desire something will directly correlate with the amount of energy we channel into it, which does not equate wanting with effort. Does Lebron James have to try really hard to slam dunk the basketball? Did Einstein have to use a lot of effort to come up with relativity? I'm not saying channeling energy into your desires may not cause a degree of physical exhaustion, but if it feels like you have to try really hard to get something, my suggestion is that something is being fundamentally misunderstood about the law of attraction, your law of attraction.
One core reason for this is holding two mutually exclusive desires simultaneously. Someone that wants to shed a few pounds while simultaneously stuffing their face with pizza is a perfect example. Losing weight is about consuming less calories than you burn. The person that wants to lose weight is not other than the one eating the pizza. Pretending there is one mind in conflict with another leads to dissatisfaction, guilt, and shame, and this is the nature of human insanity. Engaging law of attraction in a harmonious way isn't about how much you want something, but putting an end to that insanity.
A variable we may call contrast, discontent, or apparent belief that another moment can be better than the one we are in, not only isn't a bad thing, it's a variable that can make things better. With greater consciousness of how law of attraction functions, the developmentally stagnant pockets of universal intelligence become less stagnant. The rhino poacher will see that he has enough money, and does not need to fire the next bullet. The king will pay his guards and jesters more, so they can feed their families, and share with their communities according to higher standards.
While law of attraction can be engaged to expand global consciousness and perpetuate value adding growth, that engagement must be connected to your personal experience in a meaningful way in order to sustain itself. How many times have you started a project with passion only to stumble into stagnation? Wanting to achieve certain goals but unable to follow through? In this business, it's all about the follow through, which has nothing to do about some paradox of not being in control over if and when you follow through.
Path of least resistance may present you with setbacks in life or hurdles to jump in pursuit of value adding goals. Sometimes, effort, trying, and even failing may happen in our experiences. Nobody can be the best at everything. This does not mean you have to give up on your goals and not even that you should try harder. It means you learned something new that you didn't know before, which provides the potential for
clarity to open up avenues of manifestation. This has nothing to do with positive thinking- This is consciousness of the universe and how it functions prior to, during, and after whatever your experiences have been.
While opening an avenue to channel value into Honduras is one function of this blog, nothing any person can do can actually cause that. Guilt and shame manipulation are common tactics NGO's and Child Welfare foundations use to get other folks to cough up some spare change to make a difference. And yet millions of children died last year from starvation. Things have not changed much because as a unit we haven't wanted them to, which is a universal mind state for two obvious reasons. One, levels of contentedness and lack of proximity to the 'problem'. And two, a lack of open avenues for people to gain equitable value for whatever they might want to give.
A successful value adding scheme must incorporate personal meaning and emotional expansion along with a worthwhile global incentive to cascade into lasting change. In the US, if you're paying taxes, let me ask, how much of your taxes went to funding the Peace Corps last year? Other NGO's? Do you have any idea? If you did, would it matter? Someone in Rwanda using your money to buy medical supplies for starving children may well be getting more value from your money than you are. You have no idea how you might feel for delivering medical supplies to children in need unless you've done that. And the reason, I argue, that most people do not engage law of attraction in such a way is not because the value is not available to supply you with personal happiness and expansion, but because the path of least resistance isn't conscious.
If you allow someone to decide how their time, money, or value is going to perpetuate change, you allow more avenues to connect you with that energy. Who wants to be told how to spend their money? It's not that these avenues did not exist before you allow them to appear, but the absence of resistance to them plays role to a greater conscious equation which can be engaged to provide a lasting reciprocal relationship where value is given at the exact same rate that it is received.
This is
The Secret, and it isn't a secret when you are conscious of how things work. It does not mean the spark to initiate conscious expansion in Honduras is destined to succeed. It does not mean your desire for a job with higher pay is vain or egoic. It means universal expansion happens with less resistance as we make the path of least resistance conscious, which, not paradoxically, is an act of creation that can literally depend on you. That's how important you are!
I intend to open up a path from me to you which you can utilize in any way you see fit. Let's start a foundation. Let's ask the teachers and social workers how to best add value to the lives of the kids. Let's start a big brother program. Let's start a school that pays teachers double the national wage. Be the principal, or come teach. Let's do an exchange program. Let's open a factory, or how about a Pizza Hut! We'll hire the local kids, create internship programs, and open the window of opportunity while at the same time jumping through it.
